Deviation is committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing. Our jewelry features high-quality lab-grown diamonds, chosen for their ethical origins, exceptional craftsmanship and attractive price point. We also offer newly sourced natural diamonds for clients who value their unique origins and the timeless rarity shaped by the Earth over billions of years. 

The most sustainable choice of jewelry is up-cycling existing stones, and as part of our bespoke services we offer clients the opportunity to update and modernize their heirloom jewelry using natural gemstones and gold provided by the customer, after being assessed to meet our quality requirements.

Lab grown stones
We work with lab-grown diamonds, which share the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds. They offer identical hardness, brilliance, and clarity, and can only be distinguish by experts with specialized equipment. Created in a controlled environment, lab-grown diamonds provide a responsible alternative while maintaining the beauty and durability expected of a true diamond. Lab grown diamonds are an attractive choice for those seeking luxury at a more accessible price point

Natural stones
We also work with natural diamonds, formed deep within the Earth under extreme heat and pressure over billions of years. Composed almost entirely of carbon, they are the hardest naturally occurring material and among the most valued gemstones in the world. Their rarity and enduring beauty have made natural diamonds pieces to treasure and pass forward, carrying both history and meaning in every stone. Every natural diamond is responsibly sourced according to the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) and meets our standards for quality and transparency. 

Diamond quality
Diamonds are of the excellent quality TW VS, if not specified differently. Exceptions are stated in product information. Responsible mining affects both social and environmental systems, therefore, we work solely with partners ensuring ethical diamonds.  

• Natural diamonds from 0.5 ct are delivered with a GIA certificate
• Lab created from 1 ct can be delivered with a certificate upon request

Our metals
We work exclusively with noble metals chosen for their beauty, durability, and lasting quality. Each piece is crafted in sterling silver, 14 karat or 18 karat gold, using recycled metals whenever possible to ensure a responsible approach to material sourcing.

Our gold is available in yellow, rose, and white, each offering its own quiet character and refined tone. Selected designs feature a rhodium-plated finish, creating a deep blackened surface that enhances form and texture.
